Borj Transit is a company specialising in smart transport and electronic payment for public transit. We are building one digital system that connects passengers, drivers, buses and management, so public transport becomes more organised, easier and more transparent.
Today we operate in Raqqa Governorate and its countryside, on city and rural lines, and we are developing the system to expand to other cities.
Smart transit system
Manage lines, bus movement and operations from one dashboard: trips in progress, buses in service and drivers on the road.
Electronic payment and collection
Top up your balance once at the nearest top-up point or from an authorised agent, then pay your fare by scanning the driver's code with your phone. The fare is deducted in a second, and you get a notification and a receipt that stays in your history. No small change, no arguments over the amount.
The Borj app
An app you install on your phone's home screen that works without a browser: your digital card, your balance, the fare of every line before you board, and your full trip history.
Bus tracking
Follow bus locations and movement in real time, linked to a central operations system that knows where every trip is.
Management and analytics
Reports on revenue, trips and the performance of lines and buses, so operational decisions rest on numbers, not guesses.
Passenger privacy
The driver knows nothing about the passenger: not their name, balance or trip history. All they see is that the fare arrived.
Built to grow
The system is designed to connect with other electronic services and systems in the transport sector, and to grow with the number of lines and buses without being rebuilt.
